Genital Hair Removal Cream

With pubic hair removal becoming more an more popular, genital hair removal cream is turning into more of a topic of conversation. Unfortunately, removing hair from your genitals is much more difficult then it will appear at first.

The normal hair removal cream that you would buy at your local pharmacy is not recommended to be used on your genitals. When I first heard about hair removal cream, I decided to try it on my genitals (I am male). The results were very bad. Certain skin on my genitals reacted very poorly causing a very nasty burn. In addition, it itched for days and even scabbed up. My wife has also tried hair removal cream at one point in her life with poor results, but not nearly as bad as I had. So if you are female, you have a better chance of not being in as much pain as I had. However, the directions are very clear on the bottle that you should not use them on your genitals.

There are companies out there that sell hair removal cream that is safe for sensitive areas of the body. However, my wife and I have not tried these so I cannot say for sure that they work. However, remember that everyone's skin is going to react differently to hair removal cream so you need to be very careful when applying it to sensitive areas. Try using the cream on your feet or some other less sensitive area of your body to see what kind of reaction your skin will give.

It is definitely recommended that you check out the hair removal cream that certain companies design for sensitive areas of the body, but they are going to cost you significantly more. For instance, if you buy Nair hair removal cream at your local pharmacy it is going to cost you around $7.00. However, if you buy those custom hair removal creams expect to pay upwards of $30 to significantly more. It definitely can be worth the extra price as taking care of your genitals is absolutely essential.

You might want to consider some other techniques as well especially if you have sensitive skin. Many people prefer to wax their hair. However, this can be quite painful so you need to have a high tolerance for pain. Never under any circumstances should you shave your pubic hair. It will grow back much thicker and it is does not last nearly as long as waxing. There is a new technology out called laser hair removal that you might also want to consider.

Overall, genital hair removal cream is most likely a myth. There might be a few expensive products out there that will give you the results that you are looking for, but you need to be incredibly careful because it is such an important area of your body.
